Death to the Bugs!

Thanks to Sir Richard for truly charging forward and leading the way on this.  Because of him, we can say that the bugs are on the run, for fear that their lives will be shorter than expected.  

We're almost done in exterminating all of them.  All the critical ones have been eliminated in the past few weeks:
  • RIP: 17
  • Still Alive: 16
Once the remaining 16 are gone, we'll go into bug prevention mode.  

The list of all the RIP'd bugs are:

  1. Error message displayed when selecting any customer (company) link
  2. Able to now enter, without the www
  3. The Sales Growth Detail report on the dashboard now displays the appropriate content
  4. The Performance Column now displays the accurate percentage
  5. Removed unnecessary system roles link within the profile dropdown menu 
  6. Removed unnecessary system users link within the profile dropdown menu
  7. All appropriate invoice and user information is removed when an SR360 company is deleted
  8. Customer Sales Trend chart doesn't error
  9. Opportunities Report now displays the item ranking correctly 
  10. Opportunities Report now displays the correct territory vs the company
  11. All Invoice Data is now syncing into SR360
  12. Dashboard: Performance Sales Trend data is populating correctly
  13. Dashboard: Performance Per Item data is populating correctly
  14. Customer data within the Item Sales tab is displaying correctly
  15. Customer data within the Per Item tab is displaying correctly
  16. Customer months within the Item Sales is displaying correctly
  17. Territory's customer tab now displays all the customers
The following are on our hit-list, in order of priority:

  1. Fix error messages, the are a few hidden links that will generate an error message when selected
  2. Unable to save user profile changes
  3. Fix broken automated QA tests, this helps prevent future bugs
  4. The invoice pop-up window doesn't display the invoice's date
  5. When new user is created, it's not sending the user a welcome email with a temp password link
  6. Phone/Tablet: not scaling the data in the Customer Item Sales tab
  7. Phone: Opportunity Report not displaying right on the screen
  8. Phone/Tablet: missing admin tools menu option
  9. When new customers are added, ensure territories remain accurate
  10. When territory is not created, save changes message gives user impression that it was created
  11. Non-Customers unable to submit info via the contact form
  12. Phone/Tablet: unable to easily assign multiple customers to a territory
  13. Homepage: flash banner words highlighted incorrectly
  14. Help Page: unable to navigate back to homepage
  15. Homepage: Integration link auto-scrolls to wrong section on the page
  16. Terms of Service page: section headers are not bolded
